Not sure what to say?

Brig Owens had a soft but firm magical way with people from all walks of life. A dirt poor ploy boy who went on to get advanced degrees and be a great leader in many arenas, especially for DC’s youth. Dinners with Brig were some of the best moments of my life, his amazing stories never ending. I miss him daily. WN

In 1968 I attended the Carol Dale Football Camp at Ferrum College in Virginia. Mr. Owens was one of the coaches there . . . extra $$ I guess when players didn't make much. I sprained my ankle in drills. There was no trainer on staff. Mr. Owens told me he could tape my ankle and did. Just demonstrated the kind of person he was. Couldn't imagine an NFL player doing that today.

Brigg Owens was a classmate at Potomac School of law in Washington, D.C. He was a gentleman and dedicated to his studies.

Condolences to the Owens family. Mr. Owens represented me in 1985 help me get try outs with several NFL teams, to get money to finish college. I got a job here in the DMV retired 2012 thanks to Mr. Owens. I am going to miss him he mentored me to the end. Lindsey Montgomery Jr

Brig and I were in talks about the electric air taxi/cargo business and I can still recall his great enthusiasm for this emerging industry. My deepest...

Brig, a Great Player, an even Better Man....

Lived next to the Owens on Lupine Lane in McLean, VA for 8 years. He and his family were the nicest people and neighbors that we ever had. At one of the NCAA Men's Basketball national championships, he ran into my father (we're from Kentucky so we are big UK fans) and he invited my father to eat with him and some friends. My dad said he had to best time and Brig introduced my father to Coach Thompson from Georgetown at that meal as well. My dad talked about that night for years! As a...

Condolences to the Owens' family. He had true talent that was well appreciated. May the God of love be of comfort and support to you all at this time.
