We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community, their families and friends and others who support our mission. We will not forget. May...

On this day of prayer for Afghanistan. I was searching for soldiers that gave all for our wonderful USA. I found her name on the Military Heros sight. You should be so proud of your daughter.

I have had a copy of the published "Thank You - I Saw You" Letter. I look and read it often, as a reminder of how precious the world is truly around us. I never knew Brittany, but the words and thanks shared speaks volumes of what a family loss encounters. And maybe those thankful words never get uttered, not from lack of effort. Your family is so strong, kind and thoughtful ... And I am so sorry this life changing catastrophe happened and pray your years forthcoming will be easier and...

God bless and keep you Ms. Gordon you are what every parent dreams their daughter would be like! Fly with the angels you have earned your wings.

All Americans are grateful for your brave service to defend freedom and protect our way of life. RIP, Brittany, and all your brothers and sisters who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

You were, and are an inspiration to all. You represented what is best about Americans, and I won't forget you. R.I.P.

I never knew you but your story has touched me as I'm doing research on what makes a true hero. May you rest in peace and your memory live on forever, sweet girl.

The angels took you safely, meet the ones before you as I light a candle in memory.
