Brittany Nicole Peart

Brittany N. Brittany Nicole Peart, age 24, of Elkton, MD. Born in Elkton on January 24, 1987, Ms. Peart was the daughter of Ivy Henderson, Elkton, MD, and James J. Peart, Parkville, MD. Ms. Peart was a 2005 graduate of Bohemia Manor High School where she was a member of the school band, Golden Eagle Chorus and the All County Chorus. She had attended Cecil College and had a love for singing and music. In addition to her parents, survivors include her maternal grandmother, Nancy Henderson, Elkton, MD; and paternal grandparents, Walter and June Blakeley, Port Deposit, MD; aunts and uncles, Wade Henderson, Tammy Stanley, Brenda Miller, Johnny Peart, Bruce Peart, Willie Steele, Theresa Jackson and Jeffrey Blakeley; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Carver F. Henderson; and uncle, Joel Henderson. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton St., Elkton, MD 21921, where visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Private interment in Cherry Hill Methodist Cemetery, Cherry Hill, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Brittany Peart Scholarship Fund at Bohemia Manor High School, in care of the funeral home.
