Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton for Bro. Boyd Beech, age 78, of Richton.  Bro. Beech passed from this life on August 11, 2022 at Asbury Hospice House.  Bro. Raymond Aven will officiate the service with burial to follow in Edwards Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kyle Beech, Matt Beech, Josh Beech, Tylar Rogers, Daniel Carver, and Logan Knox.


Bro. Beech was an ordained bishop in the Church of God for 57 years.  He served on the MS Evangelism Board, was a MS state evangelist for the Church of God, and served on the MS Church of God State Council.  Bro. Beech also served as a missionary for the Church of God and was a tour host on multiple trips to the Holy Land.  He trained numerous young ministers as a master pastor.  


Bro. Beech was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jessie Ilene Beech. 


He is survived by his wife, Patricia Beech of Richton; sons, Boyce (Penny) Beech of Orlando, FL, Robert (Paula) Beech of Beaumont, and William "Sonny" (Patty) Beech of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Matt Beech, Kayla Beech, Kyle Beech, Brittany Beech, Josh Beech, Courtney Beech, Madison Beech, and Morgan Beech; great grandchildren, Malakai Aquillon, Amelia Carver, Wyatt Carver, and Isaac Rogers; and brothers, Vernell Beech and Willie Merl (Debbie) Beech, both of Picayune.

Bro. Beech was a wonderful pastor while at the Charleston Church of God and to our family while there. We are very sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers for Sis. Patricia and family.

I was fortunate enough to have been one of Bro Beech's first ministerial graduates. I believe that I served under him in 1987.
