Dear Sgt. Babb,
It's now September 4, 2020. I'm a recipient of your Brock Babb Scholarship for which I'm most grateful and honored to read about your bravery and ultimate sacrifice. I wish I could chat with you.
Thank you for providing these funds. Once they eventually get distributed, they will make a significant contribution towards my new career path in machining.
May God continue to bless you in heaven and your family on earth. I wish I had met you.

I will never forget Sgt. Babb sitting on sandbags looking for Waldo in the first Gulf War. Semper Fidelis Brother.

I heard about Brock while in Gardez, Afghanistan Jan 08. I served with him on the I&I staff in Evansville from 90-93. I don't know why but, for some reason I decided to do a search on him this afternoon and found this site. He was a good Marine and a good friend, he is missed greatly.
