My father was born in Rowlette PA in 1906. My Mother in Westfield NY in 1916. I have followed Brock all through my career and especially his books. So sorry he has left us too early.

Like Mr. Yates, I was born in Lockport, NY. My father, Arthur, knew Brock's, the writer Raymond Yates. That was my introduction to Brock many years ago when I was a reporter in Rochester. He couldn't have been more gracious, bridging the professional chasm between us with memories of our shared hometown and encouraging me as a writer. My gratitude always for his kindness and my sympathy to his family for their loss. Daniel Moreau. Annapolis

I was so sorry to hear of Brock's passing. I got to know him about 30 years ago when we went to his bar in Wyoming. We had some great talks and I will always treasure the t-shirt he signed for me. I offer my sincere condolences to his family.

Pamela and family: I am heartbroken. Although I have not been in touch for some time I will never forget the joys and satisfaction of working with Brock and you. From the newsletter to the Christmas Shoppe I was proud to be the creative resource for you. Brock always made me laugh and we referred to each other as "total professionals" with tongue in cheek and a smirk. God bless you all and fair winds, Brock...my friend. -Wally

I always read his column first in "Car & Driver" for many years. I did so because he was one of our few famous Western NY-ers and, moreso, because his columns were the best of the best. He seemed to be proud to be from and live in Western NY. I just wish I could've met him.

One the best experiences of my life. Also originally being a native Warsonian, the same age as Brock,I have always followed his career and have probably read everything he wrote or published with great delight and will now read everything again.
My condolences to Lady Pamela and the family. Brock is someone you will never forget and many of us lived vicariously thru him
