Not sure what to say?

I knew Brooks when we worked parttime in Denver while I was in the Air Force. We also lived together in an apartment in Aurora Co for several months before he left to (I believe) Florida for flight school. RIP my friend ....

It's been over 20 years since my last trip with Brooks and 10 years since I last saw him in Scottsdale while going thru recurrent training with the San Bernardino County Aviation Division. Brooks was the ideal Captain to fly with. Very humble, never got excited and a superb instructor. In fact, I credit Brooks for preparing me for upgrade on the 747. We had good times on trips together exchanging jokes and him telling me old war stories from his early years flying a Beech 18 in all kinds...

One of the best. I still tell stories about flying with him. Loved him.

Although we remember Brooks with humor, he was also a serious and talented airman. He and I were involved in some rather dicey ops back in the 80’s. After surviving one of those absolutely fascinating adventures, we’d glance at each other, raise our eyebrows, and not say a word. Brooks took things...

Brooks was one Great person and a Great pilot, always the happy person who made everyone around him happy. RIP Brooks it was a honor to have flown with you.

When I saw that I was on the schedule to fly with Brooks, I knew it was going to be a fun trip.

Thank you Brooks for bringing a smile to the cockpit.

Brooks, your passing has made the skies less fun, and more empty without you.
Flying with you was the greatest experience of my life. I am better for knowing you. Rest in Peace my friend.

Brooks, my dear cousin, you will be greatly missed by all those who knew you and loved you.
Love,
Your cousin Lucy
