I am so deeply saddened to hear of Brooks' passing. My husband, Gavin, and I have had the pleasure of being represented by Brooks for many life events for 40 years. His sage advice, friendship and personal charm will live on in our hearts. Our condolences to his family and all those who held him dear.

Meeting him while walking Conover Lane with Annie, they were a wonderful couple. I also have a fond memory of seeing him enjoy his garden on a summer evening while sipping on a glass of wine. I remember Brooks very fondly and was so sorry to hear about his passing. He was a true renaissance man and the world is a bit dimmer without him in it. It's been years since I had seen him but he made an impression on me and I always thought about him when I drove by his office on River Road!

An excellent lawyer and a real credit to the profession. Every case with him was really a learning experience from him. He always seemed to get the best solutions for his clients
