I was very saddened to learn of Broughton´s passing. I grew up in Demopolis and knew him through Little League baseball primarily, but also through his brother Mabry. Mabry and I were classmates (Class of 1965). Comfort to the families. Bobby Johnson

I will always remember Broughton who came into my life quite unexpectedly, but who made a lasting impression on me and my family. May his family find comfort in the difference he made in our world and in the lives of others.

I met Broughton shortly after his return to Demopolis. My late wife, sweet Laura Stroud Haygood, was a close neighbor and friends of the Rogers "boys" as she called them. Broughton was a very kind and thoughtful gentleman and I am saddened to learn of his passing.
