I spent my childhood living near Mr. and Mrs. Stanton Brown´s beautiful Waco home during the 1960´s. Mr. and Mrs. Brown loved children and nature. I will always be grateful to them for sharing their love of the wild outdoors with the children in our neighborhood. I didn´t know the Brown´s personally, but they graciously allowed us to play in their very large property which included woods, meadows, a creek, big boulders, and a pond.
