Brownie Ellis MacKie

I was lucky to know Brownie in all stages of my life. First as a child growing up with her children. It wasn't until I returned from living in CA and we reconnected with one another on FB that I really got to know her. We shared many of the same thoughts and laughed about a lot of the same things. May she rip for she will missed.

Brownie and I taught at McCullough when it was a high school and I taught French. She was hilarious. She traveled with me and students to Europe. She was so creative in so many ways-- her amazing talents in the theatre and art were overshadowed, to me, by her personality. We shared so many laughs-from adventures in our classrooms to stories about our children. I wish that I had seen her recently to tell her how much she meant to me. There are no words to express the memories your mom has left in my life. She was such a unique lady with so many talents, loved her kids and grandkids so very much and every conversation I had with her included something one of you did or were doing.
