Not sure what to say?

So sorry for your loss.He was a kind man and always enjoyed talking to him at our garage sales..

Mr. Adler took me under his wing as a 7th grader... my dad had passed away during the summer before the school year began and he helped me cope with the loss the best he could. I traveled to DC and visited his farm... he made a devastated little boys life better. I googled him tonight with the hope of being able to thank him - unfortunately I was too late. God bless you, you were a truly good man.

I was in Mr Adler´s 5th/6th grade split class for two years at Lake Grove. He was a great teacher and made learning fun. A positive influence for me going in to teaching too!

Mr. Adler taught the remedial reading class at Bethel Jr. High. I would purposefully flunk my reading tests to stay in his class, he knew but never said a word. I would be left alone to read the classics and the history books I cared about, without having to give my opinion about any of it. I live across the street from the school underneath Mr. McDonald's and Mr. Tingstad's homes. Mr. McDonald allowed me to see the beauty in a single frame, Mr. Adler let me be, although we would have...

We were taught by Mr. Adler at Bethel Jr. High, we were close to Scott although we grew apart. Mr. Adler was a very big part of our lives although we never told him. We live about a quarter mile away from the farm and enjoyed seeing him and waving when we watched him feeding the cows or mowing the lawn, he recognized us but we never stopped. After 20 years we will miss seeing him trimming the apple trees and not telling him how much he meant to us. The imposition you impose on someone to let...

When I think of Junior High, I think of Mr. Adler. His passion for teaching, helping, and honoring others is something to be admired. Something he taught us that I will never forget is that "history always repeats itself." I hope that I can inspire as many students in my classroom as he did in his. He truly was an incredible person whose passion lives on through his students. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Great men never die. They live on in the hearts and memories of the people they encountered and influenced through life's journey. Mr. Adler was an exceptionally great man who helped mold the minds of many, teaching them about history and steering them in a positive direction towards their future. I am grateful for the impact that he had on me. Though he may have moved on from this life, the mark he left on this world, is eternal.

Single Memorial Tree

While I did not have Mr. Adler for history, when I attended Bethel Junior High, my brother did. I met him as a colleague, some years later and his love for his subject, his students, and his colleagues showed me how important my voice was and how strong we could be together. I am sorry to see him go but he left a strong legacy behind.
