Bruce Albrecht, 67 of Georgetown, Texas formerly of Hilliard, Ohio passed away on September 17, 2012 in Round Rock, Texas. Bruce was born on July 5, 1945 in Spokane, Washington to Armand D. and Imogene Edna Coyle Albrecht. Bruce is survived by his wife, Barbara Marquardt Albrecht of Georgetown; a son, Brian Albrecht; daughter, Katrina Reynolds; stepdaughter, Kimber McGray, grandchildren: James Albrecht, TaJah Reynolds, Andrew McGray, Laura McGray; a brother, David Albrecht; his mother-in-law, Helen Marquardt and many friends. Bruce spent his working career in textbook publishing after graduating from the Columbus College of Art and Design. In 2001 Bruce and Barbara knew that Sun City, Texas was the place to be. It was time to get out of the cold and down here where snow was rare and the summer was hot. Bruce enjoyed traveling the United States with his wife as well as visiting with his family and grandchildren. He was always a man with great words of wisdom and thoughtful advice. After retiring, Bruce spent his free time, playing Santa to benefit local humane societies, teaching water aerobics in his community and enjoyed creating stained glass and sculptures. A celebration of Bruce's life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 22,2012 in the chapel of Ramsey Funeral Home with Pastor John Selle of Faith Lutheran Church officiating.
