Joann, Tom, Bob & Elena, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. Remembering all the Curtin-Bales times (mostly our crazy parents!!) fondly. Jim & Maureen Curtin-Evermann

Dear Bob and family, please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss.

My thoughts and prayers to the entire Bales family. Bruce was very special to me and I will miss him. My wonderful friend, Joann was so devoted to him. Bruce will be missed and always loved by all that knew him.

Very sorry to hear of your loss.Even though you had many wonderful years together,it seems we loose the ones we love much too soon.We carry your tender hearts in our hearts. God bless Mr. Bruce Bales.

Donna and I send our love to the Bales family. Tom, Bruce, you and I spent some fun days together and am fortunate to have known Bruce and Joann. Donna and Randy Rush

I will remember Bruce for his kindness and for helping a young inexperienced police officer learn how the criminal justice system worked in Marin County. The very first homicide case I investigated was handled by Bruce. Bruce was a kind man and always had positive things to say and was willing to teach anyone who wanted to learn. Our condolences to his family.

I knew Bruce from my first days as a lawyer in the early 1970s. I am very sorry to hear of his passing.

Dear Joann (Mrs. Bales), Bob, and family,
I am so very sorry to learn of Mr. Bales' passing. I admired him greatly for his integrity, keen intelligence, and devotion to family and the community. My deepest sympathy and prayers are with you all.
