Bruce, you were respected and admired for your life as a professional law enforcement agent. But your biggest accomplishments were in being Brittany and Courtney's Daddy.
You will be missed.

Bruce was a valued colleague when I served at Embassy New Delhi. I will always carry fond memories of his professionalism, dedication and friendship, as well as his love for his family.

My deepest & heartfelt condolences to the Thornton Barnes ladies. Your husband & father was the most gentle man I have come across in a long time. Brucie [what I affectionately called him] was compassionate, forgiving, sensitive, loving, sincere, kind, humble & funny. He will always hold a place in my heart. Thank you for sharing him with me during your tour in Thailand.

Bruce was the consumate professional in whatever endeavor he chose to participate. I hold fond memories of working with him in DEA Bangkok and I always admired his ability to treat all with great respect and dignity. I have always been proud to call Bruce a friend and am confident he will rest in peace. Heaven has a new Sheriff and his name is Bruce.

Bruce Barnes was truly one of the most special men to walk on the face of the earth. A real patriot, loving father, and faithful husband. May this man rest in peace forever in the presence of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.
