Not sure what to say?

Rest In Peace Bruce! I worked for Artesyn from 2000 to 2017 and Bruce (Xerox) was my first US customer. Bruce was a great mentor and he taught me how to design good layouts and how to fix EMC issues. He was a great person and it was always a pleasure to work with him.

I only knew Bruce for a short time, but in the time I knew him (while volunteering with the tek museum), he was always the one that tried to include me in the goings on. Great guy and awesome coordinator.

The pictures are of a late 1930´s Gibson guitar amplifier of my late father Don that Bruce had repaired in early 2021. Note the schematic that Bruce used and added some improvements to the Gibson design and would have been eager to explain this to their designers. Bruce will be remembered for his great talent but most of all for his enthusiastic energy and willing to share with others his expertise and knowledge.

Bruce was mentor to many of us but his most memorable was such a pleasure to work with. A project for me he took on in 2021 was rebuilding the electronics of my late fathers 1930´s Gibson guitar amplifier he used when moonlighting dances back in the 40´s and 50´s. Bruce did his magic and had a few words for Mr. Gibson about flaws in his electronics design. Bruce made it good and said it will work for another lifetime and memory of him will be with that too

Even if he didn't pull a solution to your problem out of thin air, you felt better about what ever it was. The world is a lesser place, without Bruce Baur in it. My sympathies to his family and friends. Steve Lancaster (I was about to check the box about how I knew Bruce. And it appears that I can only choose one....
