Clinton - Bruce J. Bazydlo, died Friday, July 4, 2025 in St. Francis Nursing Home, just a few months after his 69th birthday and a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s.
Bruce was the son of the late William and Wanda (Makowski) Bazydlo. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School (now Worcester Technical High School) in 1974 and resided in Clinton his whole life.
He is survived by his wife Debra, of Clinton, four children: Jaime, Jennifer, Jeffrey and Julie; 6 grandchildren; Craig, Jaime, Tiannah, Joseph, Deijeneira, and Zoe; two-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two brothers, William Bazydlo, who died in 2001, and Robert Bazydlo, who died in 2018; and one great-granddaughter Tatum Rae Bazydlo, who died in 2025.
For over 25 years Bruce worked at and later became a senior manager at Atlantic Graphic Service, a Clinton-based printing business. He would later serve as an employee of the Massachusetts State Department of Corrections and Court System for over 15 years.
For decades he was an active member of the Polish American Veterans (PAV) Club in Clinton (where he met his wife) and a member of the former Our Lady of Jasna Gora parish. He could often be found at Savage Field on Vale Street in Clinton playing summer adult softball and was instrumental in organizing the Past Our Prime Softball (POPS) League in the late-90’s.
Later in life he, his wife, family and friends could be found spending their time in the Hampton Beach, NH area where they enjoyed their vacation retreat at the Twin Brooks Campground. Bruce also loved to entertain family and friends, especially for a summertime barbecue or a big holiday party. He was a devoted fan of the New England Patriots, enjoyed annual trips to Saratoga Racetrack, and golfing with family and friends at Westminster Country Club.
The Bazydlo family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at St. Francis Nursing Home and St. Vincent Hospital, for their kind, compassionate, and loving care.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 4 until 7PM in the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., Clinton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 10AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton, with burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Lancaster. Flowers may be sent, or for those who wish, donations may be made in memory of Bruce J. Bazydlo to: Michael J. Fox Foundation, P.O. Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
