Read MoreI just saw this now in 2024. Dr. Beckord was my doctor when I lived in Estes Park, and he was the best. He came to my home when my family had an awful flu and couldn't even move, and gave us some great(ahem) shots that did the trick for the cure. He was our family doc and he will be missed.

Dr. Beckord was a force who laughed at his own bad jokes. He was my wake-up call after I destroyed my ACL freshman year at CU. Between deep belly laughs, he said that I was young and would heal if I set my mind to getting stronger. He regularly crashed my PT appointments with a joke or two to remind me that I could work harder -- and he was right. Thank you, Dr. Beckord, for teaching me to take control of my future successes ... with humor. Your bad jokes will be missed.
