Not sure what to say?

Dear Deborah,

I was shocked to hear of Bruce's sudden death, We were roommates at the Faculty of Music and he was best man for our wedding December 22,1962. Merla my wife and I were extremely fond of Bruce and I counted him among our dearest friends. We live on the West Coast just outside Vancouver BC so our paths did not cross often....only once since Faculty days. I was very, very sad to hear the news and trust that your life now is gradually assuming evenness after such a...

I just learned of Dr. Bellingham's passing today and wanted to extend my sympath and repects to his entire family. I was a student of his in the late 70's, visited his home in Willimantic as a piano student of his now deceased wife Patty. Never have I met such a totally musical family. The Dr. was as sharp as a tack and I learned a great deal from him and Patty. Again, with love and respect to his wife Deborah - a great individual will truly be missed. This old ex-student is heart...

Dear Deb,

Deb,
I know you and Bruce through Carrie. I last saw you both on Oct 15 after the Alexei Volodin recital at the Jorgensen. Bruce had delivered one of his inimitable pre-concert talks. He complimented me from the stage (!) for motioning to a couple of nearby students to please stop talking. After the show, Bruce was as voluble and entertaining as ever. I introduced him to a friend of mine active in the Hartford Jazz Society and Bruce was off and running. Meanwhile you and Carrie were...

I only learned of Bruce's passing a half an hour ago and wanted to express my deep sympathies. He was a kind and classy individual and I truly enjoyed knowing him the last few years. My heart goes out to his family and friends and I want them to know that I'm thinking about them and their loss. Bruce lead a beautiful life and touched a lot of people with his music and with his personality. If there is anything I can do please let me know.

Deb,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
