I am recently finding out this sad news... I knew Bruce for several years prior to his entering the service. I met him through David Loranger and Paul Flibbotte. Bruce was fun and kind and took to you like family I received many letters from him throughout boot camp and shortly after sadly though life took over I moved became engaged had a daughter,,,and thus lost touch,,,,,and for that I am truly sorry.....RIP peice my wild Scottish lad,,,,,,,love you brother,,,,,,till the other...

As the days of our lifes pass us by and we're all caught up in what is and what isn't. What we think and feel is the worst day ever. I just want to say that there will never be a day that passes where I don't remember and think deeply of one of my dearest. Bruce you will be forever missed and not a moment passes that I don't regret not being there the moment you need someone to be. Bruce and I knew each other as teenagers in Virginia Beach back in the days of higu school and his purple VW bus. I remember being drawn to the sparkle in his eyes and the kindness of his face. I tried to find him over the years, wanting to catch up and hear of the man he'd become. I am so desperately sorry for the lost of such a kind soul and hope that in time the memories of time spent with him help to fill the void his absence has created.
