Dateline-Raymond, NH Harold "Bruce" Clark, 62 of Old Manchester Rd., died March 25, 2009 at his home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born April 6, 1946 in Exeter, NH, son of the late Stanley Clark and Evelyn (Sweeney) Clark Lodge. Bruce was a long time resident in Raymond. He attended the Raymond schools and later served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Bruce worked as a power lineman for over forty years, working for several local area companies and retiring from Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority in 2008. He was a member of the IBEW Local 104. Mr. Clark was a member of the Hurd-Welch American Legion Post# 90 of Raymond and was always seen proudly marching for Raymond Parade events. In his spare time, Bruce enjoyed golfing, bowling, vacationing, and family gatherings. He selflessly volunteered countless hours with the Raymond Youth Athletic Association, coaching Little League baseball, coaching and managing Babe Ruth baseball and served as President for the Lamprey River Baseball League. He is survived by his loving wife, Elayne (Ingalls) Clark of Raymond, NH, 2 daughters, Wendi Tooze of Virginia, Marci Collins of Auburn, NH, 1 son, Steven Clark of Raymond, NH, 7 grandchildren, 1 sister, Joyce Clark Averill of Raymond, NH, 1 brother, Stanley Clark of Raymond, NH, and several nieces and nephews. Bruce was an active member of the Raymond Congregational Church Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2009 from 3:00-7:00 PM at the Brewitt Funeral Home, Raymond, NH. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 30, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Raymond Congregational Church. Rev Rick Robinson will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in the New Pine Grove Cemetery, Raymond, NH.
