Not sure what to say?

Dear Cummings Family,

I am so sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. I always enjoyed visiting with him. I remember a particularly tender moment as he gently offered me good advice when I was a young man. He will truly be missed.

Dearest Angela and Campbell,
Unfortunately we were traveling between CA and AZ and only heard about Bruce's passing today. We would have come home had we known.
Truly, we love and respect your family. You are our great friends and we will miss Bruce very much and the joy he gave to our lives whenever we were with him.
We hope to see you soon and share some moments with you. We send our love and again our regrets for not being with you.

It is with deepest regret that I learned of Bruce's passing. I will never forget the many hours spent at his store in the old Brownstone on 1st South. There was lots of good music played and great times enjoyed. Bruce was a good friend and mentor in those early days of Bluegrass in Salt Lake. His love for the music was an inspiration to us all. The Bluegrass community has lost a great talent and a good friend. My deepest condolances to the Cummings family.

We met Bruce when our family moved to SLC next door to the Cummings on 8th Avenue and we became fast friends. Since learning of his passing, my heart has been filled with warm memories of our youth and singing in the old quartet. His talents were many and varied and he shared them freely. His generosity was boundless. Though our association in recent years hasn't been that close, it was comforting to know that he was around. I will miss that comfort. May the Lord bless his family and...

Dear Angela, we are sending you our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Bruce was a fine neighbor, I always loved to chat with him on the latest. We will miss seeing him working in the yard, and calling the dogs in. We hope that we can be of assistance to you in the future. God Bless, John & Maria Skedros

Dear Cummings Family,
I was so sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. I fondly remember our time together in Connecticut. In fact, I still remember a specific lesson he taught to my YM's group. He was so impressive, I have often referred to this lesson over the years. He will truly be missed. My prayers are with your family.

Warmest condolences and much love to our dear friends, the Cummings'. We pray that your hearts will be full of warm & fond memories, and that you'll be able to feel the closeness of a loving Heavenly Father's spirit - and His assurance that Bruce has come back home after having very faithfully completed his appointed duties in mortality.

"When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure." May you keep & treasure the best & happiest memories of Bruce.

Angela and Bruce, both Mary and I are saddened by your loss and our prayers and thoughts go out to you. We cherish our friendship with you and will miss Bruce's enthusiasm and energy he put into all aspects of life. Love from the Hales
