My Uncle Bruce was a loving and extremely kind man. He was genuinely interested in every person he came into contact with - insightful and extremely witty . He was remarkable . May we all strive to be as outwardly kind and joyous as Bruce was during his long life. I will miss him.

Many years ago, sitting next to Bruce in the choir loft, we had just finished singing "Cantique de Jean Racine." One of my favorite pieces. Bruce leaned over and told me that he wanted that piece sung by the choir at his funeral. As it appears there will not be a choir to sing for his service, I will make a point of listening to this piece on Thursday afternoon. Rest in peace, my friend. Love to you Carolyn. Lee Ballard
