Bruce Eckersell

Dear Luana,
My sister, Arlene, in IF just told me about Bruce passing away. I'm sure you know how compassionate he was in helping families make funeral arrangements. Dick and I appreciated it so much when we had to make funeral arrangements for our children. Then when I did for Dick nearly 11 years ago. All of our parents also had their funerals arranged by Berdette and Bruce. Both such compassionate men.

We served in the temple with Luana and Bruce on Tuesdays. Such wonderful people. We will remember Bruce's warm smile, his spirituality, and always a story or thought as we prepared to to sealings.

I'm so sorry to hear of Brother Eckersell!s passing. Both he and dear Laine helped me so much when my Dad, Garvin Durrant and my Mom Perlee died. He helped whenever and wherever he could. He was truly one of God's most precious children and will surely be sitting at Heavenly Fathers feet. So, Laine, Glen, and all of you who will carry on his good work, blessings on you. Know that my prayers and thoughts are with you.

Dear Luanna and family; I was so sad to learn about the passing of your dear husband, father and grandfather. To my family he was a good neighbor, a kind and caring friend, a gentle and compassionate Church Leader. Each one of you and your wonderful family have touched our lives.

I am saddened to learn of Bruce's passing. Although older then me, Bruce always treated me with such kindness and respect. What a good, gentle, kind man. My condolences to Luana and the rest of the family.

I'm so grateful to Bruce , he is an astonishing man , he helped me when I lost my Grandaughter and he also sealed my daughter at the temple . He was such a wonderful and careing man . Sending sincer condolences to the family at this time and he will be sadly missed.
