Bruce Eugene Ervin, age 66. Of Columbus, died Saturday, June 12, 2021 at his home. Born Sept. 9, 1954 in Bellefontaine, he was the son of the late Eugene Baxter Ervin and Margaret Ann Algeo Ervin.
A graduate of Westland High School, he was employed as a diesel mechanic at Cummins, Columbus Equipment and Mid State Generator. He enjoyed race cars, motorcycles, and fishing.
Bruce is survived by his brother, Dan (Margy) Ervin of Mt. Sterling; his sister, Margene (Bob) Runyon; a niece, Ashley (Stephen) Max-Dixon and their family; also surviving are several cousins.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m at Alexander Cemetery, Hebbardsville (Athens County) with Mark Ervin officiating. No calling hour will be observed.
