Not sure what to say?

Sensei Fogalmen was a great man and a wonderful teacher. He inspired me at 33 years old to take his class with my son. Our deepest sympathies go out to Mary and all of his family. We love you Sensei and we will miss you.

I was sorry to hear of the passing of Diane's father. I worked with Diane when she, Danny, Daniel and Darah lived in Arizona. I heard many stories about what a wonderful Dad and Grandpa he was, and about his job as a police officer and how he still loved teaching Karate. He truly will be missed.

Sensei Bruce Fogelman was my teacher and a dear friend for the last ten years. During that time he showed me many things, of which his martial art was just a part. Sensei's deepest, most powerful lessons were very often simply his life and the way he moved throught it. While he lived his life as a warrior, serving his country in the military, protecting others as a Police Officer, and teaching Karate, he was one of the kindest, most giving people I have ever known. Although he had studied...

I AM SADDENED TO HEAR READ ABOUT MR FOGELMAN PASSING..I ONLY MET HIM A COUPLE OF TIMES--HE WAS A TRUE GENTLEMAN AND A WISE MAN..MY HEART GOES OUT TO CARRIE,HARLEY,PAIGE STINE AND HIS FAMILY...MY HEART AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU

Sensei Fogelman was my instructor in Isshin Ryu for almost 6 years. He has impacted so many lives, probably in more ways than he ever knew. His strength and faith touched us all, making us stronger at the same time. I will miss his jokes and stories and some of them I'll remember for a long time to come. The world would be a much greater place if more men had half of his compassion and committment to his community.

I went to school with Bruce many years ago. We raised a little trouble in school and was suprised to see him become a policeman and at that a very good one. I am proud to have known Bruce and hope to be with him again some day.

I am very sorry to hear about Shihan Fogelman. He was truly an inspiration to the Martial Arts. I am glad that I had the fortune to work with him at the tournaments and talk with him.

He will be missed!
Grand Master Steve Otstot

I was sorry to learn of the passing of Bruce Fogelman. I had an opportunity to work with him in the 1970's when I was a Probation Officer and he was with the police force. Although I had not seen him in years, I remember him as an excellent law enforcement officer who was fair and honest with juveniles he dealt with. I was aware of his community service and especially his karate instruction. We was a model public servant and the community has lost a very good man. My sincere condolences to...

I am proud to have called Bruce "Uncle". He was a caring man who always had a smile for all. You could always count on Bruce and Mary being there for all family gatherings. He will be greatly missed by his family; and the community has lost a hero who cared about all youth. Love to Mary, Diane and Carrie and the grandkids
