Not sure what to say?

I grew up on NE 15th with Kim and Bruce. We didn't attend the same schools but we were very good friends and enjoyed hanging out. Riding bicycles all over the neighborhood and going to Irving and Grant Park. Playing board games and cards at his house. We were a close neighborhood and enjoyed doing things together. Bruce was such a gentle and kind boy. He was fun to be around. Rest in Peace, Bruce.

Dear Ashlee and Emilee - So sorry to hear of you dad's passing. He was a great friend and always wonderful to talk to. He had a great laugh and an amazing personality. I hope both of you are doing well. I see that you both have families which is wonderful!!!! I would love to talk to you both. We had some great years in Estacada. I would have loved to come to the celebration of life, but I will be traveling. I will drop a card at East Fork with my contact information . I am so...

Always kind, considerate, and loving, Bruce was my preschool childhood companion, friend, and playmate. In an age of innocence, we explored our neighborhood by foot and on bikes, marveled at its wonders catching, observing, feeding, and releasing insects, building dams in the gutter for floating leaves with twig masts, the simple pleasures of life. We built cardboard playhouses together whenever the A&P Market had a big box. All the neighborhood kids interacted, playing marbles and...

I've known Bruce for a long time, we were in the Cement Masons local 555 for a few years in the late 60's, early 70's, then started our own concrete company's Bruce did mostly foundations and I did mostly flatwork. I think of Bruce every time I sit in the wooden drift boat He built, then sold it to me for some money to buy the girls some jet ski's, very thoughtful of him. He always did stuff like that. Hang in there Nora, Ashlee & Emilee. RIP Bruce, your friend Bill.

I grew up with Bruce and, at that time, we were best friends attending Sabin Elementary School together. We built a club house together in our backyard and tried to build a tandem bike combining single bikes, and we built early versions of skate boards out of roller skates that needed keys to attach to a shoe. We wrestled till we were exhausted after school and I learned how to fly fish on a camping trip with Bruce and his parents. Then life happened and this special friendship froze in time....

What a great man.

I am friends with his family! He was a gentle soul and a great father. He will be remembered well . Blessings to this village.
