There are people that come along in your life you never forget. Bruce Garrett is one of those. Even though I went through most of my school years with him, Bruce and I didn't keep up much after that. We both got on with the business of life, and I have no doubt he lived his to the fullest. I saw Bruce probably a year ago at the grocery store. He still had that same old smile and good nature that was just.....Bruce. He never said a word about being sick, he just wanted to know what I've been...

It's just not right.
A good shipmate.
A better friend.
I will miss him.
Thanks for the memories.

So many years have passed, but nothing can take away the high school memories that we shared as we experienced life in the 70's. So many beach trips, football games, and hanging out. You were one of my best Buds. Thank you for the memories, I will hold them forever. My prayers are with your precious family as they will miss you so much.

My Sweetest Bruce.. You were on my mind just a few short weeks ago. Mom and I spoke of you and wondered how you were. I only wish I had known what you were going through and could've been there for you and your family, in some way.
To your family.. You were so blessed to have had him as a son, husband and father, but I don't have to tell you that. I'm certain there was no better a man you could've had or wanted.
Bruce was my first true love in high school. It’s been many years since...
