Bruce was a dear brother in ministry. I thought the world of him as a friend and as a person of faith. The verse of scripture that comes to mind is “Speaking the truth in love.” (Ephesians 4:15). Bruce impressed that verse on my soul 40 years ago and whenever I hear it Bruce comes to mind. We always found something of joy to smile and laugh about ; he was infectious that way.
