Not sure what to say?

Bruce was my Brother In law who was married to my sister Pam. We visited out in Portland and Bruce showed us a great time. He made his famous Vegetable Stew in a cast iron skillet and Fried Sturgeon that he had caught in the Williamette River. He instructed me on the right pronunciation so I didn't sound like a tourist! We drank beer and sampled some of his homemade green juice, that stuff had quite a kick! I'm sorry that I hadn't kept better in touch these last years but I will remember...

Bruce was always such a gentleman and so good to me. I'm so glad my dad and I went to see him. Bruce was a big part of my younger years. I loved him dearly. Bruce was always there when I needed his friendship. He was a big brother to me and guided me a lot. May you rest in peace sweet man. Sharon Hartsfield ( Keil )

Bruce was a great friend and neighbor, I'm sorry that he is gone but relieved that his struggle is over. He and his ex wife Pam were the neighborhood Uncle and Aunt, inviting all the kids over or taking them on adventures. Bruce taught my son how to fish and probably how to swear too. The 4th of July was always a party and Bruce was the ringleader. In the later stages of Parkinson's he insisted on lighting all the fireworks (mostly illegal in Portland), sometimes with a blowtorch. Fortunately...

I thought I had posted my thoughts for Bruce the other day, but I don't find it. Bruce was our back yard neighbor when we moved to the area in 1959. He always seemed to have some "adventures" going on and giving Henry and Dorothy parental challenges . I hope he was able to find some smooth roadways on life's pathway. It is always sad to see when someone you knew back in your childhood have their life come to it's end and especially with an illness that makes their last years difficult. Peace...

I have known Bruce since I was 6 years old. We grew up together, same grade school, same high school and fought each other several times- he gave me my first black eye. We had several hunting and fishing adventures especially after he got out of the marines. Bruce was always the first one to take a dare-like diving off the Jantzen Beach high platform, high rocks bridge and Lucia Falls rocks in Washington where he saved me from drowning after I stupidly jumped into the falls. Bruce was...

so sorry to hear of Bruce's passing.I knew him since high school & we shared some great adventures, not the least of which was sinking my dad's boat.We always shared a laugh on that after it was over.
Bruce really was one of the good guys.
