Not sure what to say?

Dear Louie and family. We are so sorry to learn of Bruce's passing. We truly loved and admired him for many years but never so much as this past year. Bet by now God has him so busy with important jobs recognizing him as a truly one of His best creations.

Love always

Dear Louie and Family, I truly wish I were able to be with all of you on Saturday to hear the wonderful stories and memories about one of the most amazing men I have ever met. He was so gracious and caring, under all circumstances, and I have never known anyone who took so much pleasure in the success of his fellow workers. He was a joyful man and had a terrific laugh! What a tremendous loss to you, to me, and to all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.

I was so shocked to open the email with the news of Bruce's death. My husband Jack spent his early years in the paper business with Bruce and they were good friends. Bruce "helped" Jack build a bookcase for our summer cottage. He will be missed but leaves behind dear memories.

We all die, but no one is ever dead.

Louie, Mick & Brian,
My heartfelt sympathies go out to all of you and your entire family upon the loss of Bruce. Even though we have not kept in touch very much over the years I still want you to know that I hold fond memories in my heart from the years that I was a part of the family & I pray that God will bring comfort as you go through this period of grieving & readjustment to life without your loved one. Lots of love especially to you, Louie, (my favorite ex-cousin), from Kenny...

Louie, Mike and Brian, my last correspondence with Bruce was regarding the importance of family and how he couldn't imagine a life without "Louie and his boys." I worked for Bruce for 9 months while at SMART Papers but he passed on a lifetime of love, guidance, warmth and wisdom in that short time span. I can only take comfort in knowing that anyone that Bruce cared for is going to be looked over from Heaven and for those of us that he loved we have an incredible, powerful Angel on our side....

Bruce(Dad)will be truely missed by Linda & I. During my high school days at Glenbard North both Louie & Bruce were like second parents to me. I'll never forget our summer days in the pool. My deepest sympathy.

Dear Louie, Mike and Brian:

John and I were both very saddened to learn of Bruce's passing. You and John go back many years. It was very kind of Brian to call and give us the message that Bruce had passed away. Please know that you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers. May God bless you and give you comfort.
Sincerely, John and Nancy Sage
