My Dad, Dr. Fernley Stoneman, always listened to Bruce Grant on WOOD and I was in school with Patti when we lived in Grandville. My sincerest condolences for your loss.

My fondest memory of Bruce was growing up and listening to him every morning while my dad fixed breakfast before we went to school. Nobody played my favorite song more than he did - Deep Purple (Nino Tempo and April Stevens).

I remember my Mother always having WOOD radio on in the morning and listening to your Father. When it was a very foggy morning he would say "Be careful and leave early, that fog is as thick as pea soup!" Sweet memories! May God give you peace and comfort in this time of separation. We shall meet again in heaven!

Imagine a DJ on a station known for playing standards catching the attention of a 13 year old rock fan. My clock radio was set to WOOD so I could catch Bruce a bit before heading to school. Great job , Bruce !

Bruce was a member of our household. We listened to his show every morning and eagerly waited to hear his "guests" on air. My Mom would have coffee with Bruce and laugh with his quips on the show. He truly made our mornings better. Thank you Bruce and Thank You to his family for sharing him with all of us.
