Not sure what to say?

Your 95.5 has been keeping your voice alive. You are truly missed. I like many others have grow up waiting to hear what you had to say about current events. So much so that for a while I wanted to do news. But I wasn't cut out for the extra drama. Thanks for inspiring us. I pray that your family was able to stay strong. I also pray that you all continue to be blessed.

As I am having a rather stale cup of coffee this afternoon at work, I too remember David and his "burnt toast and coffee time" saying each day. I live in Chicago now but grew up in Milwaukee. RIP Dave Haines

So many years later. I listened to David when he was in Milwaukee. I will always remember Burnt toast and coffee time!! and when he would talk about the police it was," The Long Arm Of The Law"! to the family I am sorry for your loss.

17 years later and ur still n our hearts n on our minds. I still pray for ur family and friends. Continue to rest easy. Continue to look over the city. We love u Mr Haines!!!!

I grew up listening to Donnie Simpson show, and just came across this! I was so excited when I got this at about 8 years old :)

Just wanted to say Rest In Peace & add my respects. I grew up with DC area radio & im reading Cerphes book right now. I had a strong memory of David saying its burnt toast & coffee time with enthusiasm that perced me up in the am before I ever picked up a coffee habit. I know this comes long after the fact but just wanted to share that from an era when Real djs talked & walked the earth.

As I drove into work this morning I heard those famous last words "IT'S FRIDAY". Thank you WPGC for keeping Mr Haines' memory alive. A great loss to us all here on earth, a great gain to heaven. My prayers are with you David and your family.

We miss you David. Rest in Peace.

My son still nver believes that its Friday until he is able to hear the voice of David Haines
