Not sure what to say?

Dear Liz, Susan, Sharyn and Peggy,

We were so saddened to see in the Parkside bulletin on Sunday that Bruce had passed on. If we had known, we would have certainly been with you all on Saturday to say farewell.

Bruce was such a warm, happy and devoted man. We know that there are no words that can relieve your sorrow today - just the promise that we will see him again at a time when there will be no more pain, tears or sorrow.

Our heartfelt love and...

Dear Heil Family:

I was so sorry to hear about the death of Mr. Heil. I unfortunately did not know in time to come by the funeral home. Peggy, my heart goes out to you and your family. Your father always was so friendly each time Phil and I would see him around town or at church. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family.

Aunt Liz:

I hope you have received our card. I am sorry that we could not attend. My mom and dad told me the ceremony at your church was lovely. I was not surprised when my mother told me of how many people came to pay their respects (even from the old neighborhood)!
Please also take care of yourself, and don't hesitate to get in touch with me if you have any questions of your own I might be able to help with. God bless you and know you are in our prayers.

We have so many wonderful memories of Mr. Heil -- what a great father and husband he was! His smile was larger than life, and he will be missed!

Lots of love to all of you -- we are thinking of you and praying for you!

Dear Sharon, Chelsea, Brooke and family:

I was so sorry to hear about your loss. I know it's so hard for you right now and there is an emptiness that cannot be filled, but I do believe that even though we can't see our loved ones, they're there. Watching over us and sharing in our lives - we just don't have the pleasure of seeing them being a part of our lives any more - but they are - they are always there. Remember that and draw peace from that knowledge.

Dear Liz and family:

I always felt like family when I was with you all, and Bruce, was always there!! It made me feel so special knowing he wanted to be part of our visit, and even buy lunch, dinner, whatever. I will always remember him shining when his girls were around, and felt his love for them all. He will be so missed by so many! Our hearts break for you. Love, Jan and Robert.
