Not sure what to say?

I worked with Bruce's mom Rose, Bruce was a baseball team mate of mine back in our teen years. A great guy and a good friend.

Mr. Hess was my teacher freshman year of high school. He helped me, as well as many of my friends and classmates, through so much. Entering high school was a new experience, and Mr. Hess contributed to making it a memorable year. He was so loving and kind; His memory will never be forgotten. I thank him from the bottom of my heart for everything he did for me and his other students. He had such a beautiful impact on my life. His family is in my thoughts and prayers!

Mr. Hess was my teacher during my freshman year of high school. He had the biggest heart and was just an all around amazing person. He helped me survive my first year of high school by letting me and my friends vent to him about our problems and giving us advice. He always had the class laughing and new how to brighten anyone's day. He will be missed by many! My prayers go out to his family...

Dear Hess Family- I just heard about the loss of Bruce in our local newspaper. I had the great pleasure of teaching with Bruce at Franklin County High School in Virginia. He was a member of our 9th grade academy team and coached our softball team here at FCHS. I have very fond memories of Bruce. I know he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Uncle Bruce,
It breaks my heart to say good- bye to you. I will cherish having you in my life and hold dear all the memories we shared. May you rest in peace with Nan and grandpa. Remember all those silly sayings you taught us as kids. Thank you for being my godfather and the godfather to my son Cole. We all love you and miss you. Say hi to Nan. I miss you both more than words can say. Rest in peace uncle...

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.
