Not sure what to say?

I thought there was going to be a memorial this summer for Bruce. If anyone knows about when this is supposed to happen, please let me know.

Bruce was a neighbor of mine in Standish, He sent me an E-mail wishing me Merry Christmas about a week before, never mentioned anything about being ill. So sorry he passed away.

My condolences to you, Doug and Barb. I know it's rough losing a younger brother, having lost one of mine. It's times like this that we look back on a lot of our fond childhood memories in Freeland. My thoughts are with you and your families.

Bruce was a good childhood friend of mine since first or second grade. We lived about a mile away on old Midland road in Freeland and would ride our bikes back and forth to play. That friendship continued well in to adulthood, and we shared more than a few drinks together over the years. We lost contact when I moved to Florida in 1994, but our friendship never ended. You will be missed my friend.

Bruce was a great guy and was pretty much a part of our family when my brother and him were growing up together. When I was younger he showed me how to do alot of home improvements for myself. He also was able to make me laugh alot. I will miss him.

I'm devistated by the news of his passing,he was my oldest friend, since 1961 we go back,I have not seen Bruce in almost 3 years but I planned on looking him up when I come back this June for a visit, now sadly that will not happen, Bruce was truly one of a kind, and a true friend to all who knew him, he had a great sense of humor and loved to make others around him laugh, rest in peace my friend, even though you will be missed you will definately never be forgotten,I'll see you later. Wow, I'm Shocked. Bruce and I grew up together and have shared many good times. I'll miss all the crazy things we enjoyed together and all our years at Freeland Elementary, Middle, and High School. I could fill a book on all the times we had together with Jeff Huffman, Randy Hendricks, and some of the other terrors of Freeland. God Bless You Buddy, You will always be remembered!!

I have known Bruce all my life and I am just 4 years younger than Bruce. We grew up in the same neighborhood and continued on as friends for most of our adult life. Sadly we had not spoken in about 7 years. However we where great friends at one time and he will be greatly missed!!!! I will always remember his vivacious laugh. Rest In Peace My Old Friend!!! My thoughts and prayers are with his family..........Barb and Davi I knew well.

Rest In Peace my old friend.
