I was greatly saddened this week, when I returned to work and learned of Bruce's passing. It was an honor to care for him the last couple of years. He reminded me so much of my own Father. I always scheduled extra time for his clinic visits so we would have time to chat. I enjoyed listening to him talk. He was so knowledgeable in so many disciplines. We would discuss everything from politics to religion to cooking. He had such a wonderful sense of humor. One of his favorite topics was his...

I first came into contact with "Uncle Bruce" at my Aunt Maureen's (Auntie Reen's) funeral about 8 or 9 years ago. He was so willing to share his faith and encouragement. His work on the family tree was pretty amazing, I wish I could have known Bruce better over my entire life rather than just the last few years. Reading over the entries in this journal I can see how much he was loved. Because he was a believer we can celebrate in knowing we will see him again.
