Bruce R. Jenkinson

Bruce had many reserved talents and was amazingly interesting person. Hoped he will write another book or books. Will miss him a lot.

Bruce was a brother soul. We worked and traveled together in Alaska and Russia. I remain fascinated by his many adventures,including an exploratory start-up business in the Andeman Islands in the northeastern Indian Ocean. Bruce accomplished a lot in his too short life and will be truley missed.

I worked with Bruce for one summer at Carbon River before he moved to RMNP and I moved to Paradise. He was a tremendous co-worker. Among many things, one that sticks out to me was the sight of him having collected a road kill raccoon and teaching himself how to tan the hide and fabricate an authentic coon skin hat, complete with head and tail on the hat. My sympathies to his family members.

Bruce will be sorely missed by me. We were friends for more than 20 years. Will there be a service? If so, when and where? Please send me a message to : [email protected]
