Doug and I met through our WWII relatives connection. We attended a couple of 376th Bomb Group reunions and formed a lasting friendship. He was such a kind and caring man and I will miss him so much. Here's to you Olde Man from your RHSHR

We were friends from his first marriage to Lucinda Birtles whom I went to school with and kept in touch with him over lunches and dinners occasionally. I will miss him so much. He sure fought the long battle with that terrible C word. Please keep me informed about his private services as I would like to attend. Thank you. Peace to you now Doug with no more suffering
