Not sure what to say?

I first had the pleasure of meeting Bruce almost 20 years ago while I worked as a hostess in a restaurant he loved to dine. Then probably 10 years later I had the pleasure of waitressing for Bruce at Taste Buds. Regardless, whether Bruce was the customer or the boss,he was always a joy to be around. My heart goes out to his friends and family, because I know how much he will be missed.

"Though much is taken, much remains."

I wanted to share that simple thought with Bruce's family and friends, as such will be the case in the loss of Bruce.

I too got to know Bruce through the New Moon Grille and his favorite "Droopy's". Bruce & I talked for hours and hours about food and his food travels. We shared a special battle for the hig score on the trivia machine in the food & drink game. I always enjoyed seeing Bruce there because he was always in a good mood and brightened everyone's day. He never had a negative word to say, never had a bad day, and never had an enemy. Bruce just enjoyed people, and I know this must be true...

I met Bruce when he first moved to the beach. I thought he was just gorgeous with all those curls! So many great memories, so much wonderful food...Where does one begin to describe Bruce. He was always there with a shoulder to lean on and an ear to listen and of course, with lots of advise. Bruce was kind , generous, funny, beautiful and very intelligent. I consider myself lucky to have known him. Thank you for your friendship and the memories. Until we meet again, God speed Bruce.

I love you, Bruce. I have made your life a living hell and I know you loved most of those minutes! I tried really hard not to go over the line cause I respected you so much. I will miss you, I will remember you and I will never forget that some of the greatest times of my life were with you watching over me. God Bless you.

I bartended everyone of Bruce's famed Xmas parties.Besides that he was a great person and friend. He will be sadly missed.

I have just heard the news about Bruce. I am so sorry. I just saw Bruce this past friday night for the first time in several years. We conversed over how long it had been since the last time we had seen one another, about the loss of my mother this past summer and how we didn't think either one of us had aged a bit. Ha.. Always a kind word he had.

I am so sorry for your loss, Bruce and his wonderful resturants will always bring many a fond memory.

I feel very blessed...
