Dear Kendall family,

Bruce and I had become friends over the years & I had the pleasure of meeting up with him at the CES & Ribfest too. I didn't realize we were only 2 months apart in age until just yesterday, which has given me a lot to think about.

Bruce was pretty amazing in that he was giving me encouragement for my situation while not even bringing his problems up.

It's difficult to put into words something that makes sense and we talked about how...

Bruce Kendall was a brother to me at a globe-spanning distance, down here in Australia.

That we shared audio and a very similar world view is part of it, and his capacity for loving with humour and example made him very powerful.

My life and the standards by which I try to live it were strengthened by him.

To the Kendall family - I was never privileged to meet Bruce in person, nonetheless I feel he was a friend. His marvelous sense of humor was a gift to all who knew him, and he will be sorely missed.

This obituary was just posted on an online discussion forum related to home audio which was one of Bruce's passions. In the few years I knew Bruce as an "audio buddy", he demonstrated selfless commitment to others and was always there with help and good cheer. I don't know what else to say except it was a pleasure meeting and knowing him. I know their kitties Cinco and Mayo must miss him.
