Bruce was a lot of things to a lot of people but to me he was a friend. I'll miss the phone calls and the emails Bruce. We had some good times under the 'ol Shadetree!!

Bruce came up once and we met "half way" and had dinner and talked. Right as I pulled in to the meeting spot, a local Sheriff pulled in right behind me. Bruce got the biggest kick out of that and never let me live it down. "Everywhere HoundDawg goes, the law follows." Oh boy, he got some mileage out of that one. ...

I can say I was truely blessed to get to know Bruce and spend some time with him. It seemed we formed a bond quickly and we had some very deep talks. I felt very honored that Bruce intrusted me with his favorite hound pup Hagar when he knew he was not going to be able to hunt him the way he needed to.On his last visit to out place Bruce brought me a very special present that I will always treasure a 22 Colt Woodsman that had been his Dads. He said he wanted me to have it. Bruce was just that...

To a dedicated outdoorsman,a wonderful chef and barbecue master, you will be greately missed but we know you will be watching over us as we stalk the plains and mountains for the perfect game. Will think of you every time I make your barbecue sauce receipe you shared with me.Keep an Eye from the Sky.

I don't get on the boards much anymore. I was floored when I learned of Bruce's sudden passing. For someone I had never met in person, I was surprised at how strongly it shook me up. That says a lot about Bruce when just in simple phone communication, he made such a strong impression. I instantly got the feeling he was a sincere, genuine soul. Speaking to those that know him well, it sounds like an accurate assessment. I hope he went comfortably. Chris, I wish you the best.

Bruce left quite an impression on an awful lot of people. Todays Predator boards were all influenced by his early endeavors. He was truely a man's man.
