Not sure what to say?

I knew Bruce for only a short time but knew him to be gentle yet fiercely committed to social justice. Confined to a wheel chair after losing his legs he would wheel himself from his home on Wells street to the corner of Main and Hebron avenue to protest the wars in Iraq and Afbanistan. Cold and bad weather did not deter him. He was an inspiration. I will miss him. My thoughts go out to the family.

I knew Bruce since about 1990 when we worked together at Puritan, later, when I joined Bob's in 1995, he was already there. He was always the most pleasant guy and very great to the customers and co-workers alike. He had a funny, sometimes sarcastic humor and I liked his remarks on politics. Maureen, I was sorry to hear of the loss of your brother. It sounds like we had many of the same interests and that we would have gotton along very well. John (interacs)

On many Sundays I stood on the corner of Main and Hebron Ave with other members of the Greater Glastonbury for Peace and Justice group. Bruce was often across the street holding his sign that protested the war. A big smile and wave always greeted me. May peace surround him now.

my heart goes out to all he left behind..he was one of a kind and he touched so many ...i am sure he is having a beer with john and ted kennedy as we speak..God bless.. a friend, donna shea

Maureen , John
I was so sorry to hear of your loss.
Please accept our deepest sympathies.

Unfortunately I only just heard the sad news now, 2/4, 7:20 pm. and am unable to attend the service. I was just thinking of him earlier today, while watching Oprah. Our hearts are with you all in this difficult time. Your cousin,

Maureen, Margaret, Carla,
John 14:2 Jesus said, "In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you."
Let the Bible give you peace and assurance in His promises.
You are all in my prayers.
