Not sure what to say?

Because no words could ever really express my feelings about Bruce, I will write only these three: best guy ever. He was one of the absolute best friends I could have ever had during my years at KU. So glad we reconnected a couple years ago. My heart and prayers go out to Mary and his family. I know he is watching you all from Heaven. Until I see you again dear friend...rock chalk. With love and sympathy to his sweet family.

Lopez Family: Sorry for your loss. I knew Bruce when we both attended KU. We shared many great memories. He was fun, kind, compassionate and most of all a great friend to everyone he met. I ran into Bruce at a KU basketball game a few years ago and we picked up our conversation like 38 years had never passed. I know he will be missed but well remembered by many.

I was saddened to hear the news of Bruce's passing today. He was always friendly and ready for a laugh. He is in my prayers, as is his family.

I knew Bruce for 30+ years. Ran into him a few months ago for the first time in several years.. Once we started talking we couldn't stop....like no time had passed. So many stories and memories we shared. Such a kind and fun loving guy he was. My condolences to the family.

Lopez Family,
Bruce was one of the nicest guys I ever had the pleasure to know. As a friend of his son Brian, he regularly kept up with what was going on in my life, and every time I saw him, though infrequent, was like we've seen each other every day. He was just a super nice guy. He'll truly be missed. Sending prayers to the family. RIP Bruce.

Mary: I am so sad to hear about your loss. God blessed you with many years of love and happiness that many people never get to experience. Cherish the gift God gave you and know he will always be there for you. Denis Kronaizl

To the Lopez and Holter families,
Bruce sparked a flame of joy in all who knew him and he made the world a better place for all. Prayers from our family to yours, that his rest in eternal life bring comfort to all.

Dear Mary, Jessica and Brian. I spoke with Betsy the other day, who told me about Bruce's passing. To say I was shocked is an understatement! I am so very sorry for your loss! Actually, his passing is a loss for all of us who knew and loved him. I'll never forget our "driveway drinkers" gatherings on Alma Ct. What fun we had! Bruce was always the epitome of the perfect hose, since we always ended up on your driveway.

I've been trying to find your address but my computer is not...

Dear Lopez Family,
I am so-so sorry for your loss that has left an immense void in your lives. Bruce was a treasure in our world of negativity. I work in one of the colleges Bruce would visit and I cannot believe I will never get to see his smiling, happy soul again. He will be greatly missed by me and everyone that had contact with him as he was such a light but gentle soul that I was blessed to have known.
