Bruce and Maria,
You have been in my heart since daddy worked at Colprovia and till today. You were always there. We had the snowmobile parties and berry picking parties with mom, Maria and us kids. Was telling my brother about the time we went blueberry picking and when we drove past Reith & Reilly workers I flipped them the finger.
I love you forever ❤

My condolences to the MacKellar family. Bruce and Maria were close friends of my parents, Bill and Virginia Venema. My first memories of Bruce began when I was 14 years old. We all went hunting together. Bruce was patient and a great, gental teacher when hunting. I recall how patient and calm he remained when I shot a pheasant he had knocked down and before I gave his dog a chance to retrieve it. May your memories and the grace of God comfort you.

My condolences to the family. My parents were close friends of your parents. I first remember Bruce when I was 14 years old and we would all go hunting Pheasants. He was a great teacher and very patient even when I shot a bird he knocked down not giving his dog a chance to retrieve it. I have very fond memories of your parents and their home. May God comfort you. Denny Venema.

Dear Family, I'm so sorry for the loss of your dad, but I know he's happy to be with your mom and sister now. I'm sure you're remembering all the good times you've had with such super parents. My thoughts and prayers, and blessings are with you all.

So sorry to hear about the passing of your dad and super grandfather. He and your mother were a great team. When we visited Faith they were always there to greet people. Geoff Hayes is our daughters god father so we visited often. He and Maria are teaching those in heaven how to dress and celebrate Halloween.

All my thoughts and prayers.
Thought I had sent one of these before but I did not see it listed.

I was shocked to find out yesterday that Bruce had passed. The whole Leven family was so close to Bruce and Maria, dating back to the 1930's and we maintained that relationship for all these years. Bruce and Maria were like a brother and sister to us. Bruce was one of the finest, most gentle and loyal individual we have had the honor of knowing. We live in California during the winter and I was so looking forward to having lunch this summer, as we had for many prior years. Bruce and Maria...

Dad, you have always been the rock of my life!! I'll miss you!! I hope I have done you proud. I will always cherish the time we spent together. Until we all meet again.
Love You!!

Dear Mackellar family,
I was sorry to read about your Dad's passing. I remember your folks having so much fun with the "Cradle Roll gang". (Consisted of Bruce & Maria, the Venema's, Gillessee's, and my parents Jim & Betty Holloway) Your parents were both so kind and fun loving which I remember as a kid growing up even though I didn't get to join in.

May you all treasure fond memories. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
