Bruce was a truly wonderful servant to this country. I served in the Coast Guard Reserves in Mobile for many years with him. I remember fondly our exchanges at the unit and how diligently he work to resolve a retirement point problem for me, took him almost three years to get it fixed but he took the extra effort and got the job done. I know he will be missed. I was blessed to have known him he was truly was a gentleman and gentle spirit.

I was truly saddened to hear of the passing of my good friend Bruce. I will miss his quiet manner and gentle ways, always listening, always a smile on his face. I'll have one for you when I get home buddy. Bravo Zulu for a life well lived.

I had always considered Bruce a wonderful person in his own shy and quiet way. Only now am I discovering all the many wonderful acts of kindness he showed to neighbors, co-workers, fellow service men and women, and others, which only makes Bruce more special in my eyes. He will be sorely missed at our next LODA (Lower Dauphin Street) Gathering after work, but his gentle spirit and memory will remain with all who knew him. My sympathy and prayers to all of Bruce's family and many friends.

As a member of the Alabama Association of Paralegals, Bruce will be forever missed. They say that a person is successful when he leaves the world a bit better, when even one person has breathed easier because he has lived. If this is true, then Bruce was extremely successful in everything that he did.

Thank you Bruce for all the kindness and helpfulness that you showed me and everyone else that you had any contact with. You were certainly one of the "gentle" men that worked at the Corps of Engineers in Mobile, AL. You will be missed; but, a shining star always leaves a light, even if just in a memory. Patricia E. I served with Bruce in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve in Mobile AL for over four years. He was an exceptional person, fellow Chief Warrant Officer and friend. His physcial presence will be sorely missed, but his spirit and fond memories will continue to live with those that knew and respected him.
