Bruce Ian Mcelroy

BRUCE IAN MCELROY, age 51 years, a resident of Beverly, WV departed this life Thursday, July 3, 2008. Death was unexpected. He was born Tuesday, June 4, 1957 at Dover, NJ a son of Dr. Donald J. McElroy who survives at Dover, NJ and the late Jeane Louise Goodlin McElroy. On September 24, 1998, he was married to the former, Teresa Ann Filler, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Ian McElroy, Elkins; one daughter, Carly McElroy, Elkins; one brother, Dr. David McElroy and wife Linda, Randolph, NJ; one sister, Melissa Leonhardt, Clark Summit, PA; and several nieces and nephews. Bruce was a graduate of Gill-St. Bernard�s High School at Gladstone, NJ and Davis & Elkins College with a Bachelor�s Degree in Wildlife Biology and was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He worked as a Field Biologist for the State of West Virginia and was a member of the Randolph Lodge # 55, A. F. & A. M. He loved the outdoors and raising Weimaraner Dogs. Mr. McElroy�s request for cremation was honored. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
