I am sorry sorry to hear of Booty’s passing. He was a wonderful friend to my father. I remember him so vividly from our many trout fishing trips in my youth. I could go on and on about his character, humility and benevolence. I am so sorry I could not make his funeral, as I just learned about his passing yesterday. He will be dearly missed. Cornell Berry

Bootie was the epitome of a “Southern Gentleman,” and his handshake, a strong bond. To Boyd, Jimmy and the members of Booty’s family, my sincere condolences on a tremendous loss. He will be sorely missed throughout the community.

To Lee and all of the Family, I am sincerely sorry for your loss of your father. I just found out today and it breaks my heart. I know he was a very special man and very much loved from everything Lee has told me and everything that is written. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.
