Not sure what to say?

He was my pediatrician in the late 50's, 60's. His nurse was Mrs. Check. I remember them both. Thank you for taking care of me for so many years. Around 1980 or 1981 I went to the Community Memorial Hospital ER with glass in my foot and he was the ER doctor! Quite a guy.

Meredith,
I have written a few notes to the community of friends that have shared and enjoyed knowing Bruce during the larger part of his life.
Bruce was fortunate to have your hand and love over all of the years and I know there will be an empty place to fill with good memories. I see a bright bouquet of flowers that you have painted......this is how I will remember you as a couple, and with the smile on Bruce's face is how I will remember his friendship.
With our deepest...

Meredith,

I am so terribly sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. He was a wonderful person and it was my privilege to have known him. I enjoyed when you both would come for your visits and have the opportunity to listen to some of his stories. I would also like to say what a lucky man he was to have such an adoring wife, that took great care of him. I unfortunately will be unable to attend his service on Saturday, however, I would like you to remember that you have an extended family...

Dear Meredith and family,

We think of and will always remember Dr. B as a treasured neighbor and friend. We have so many memories of his spunk and his humor, but especially of his willingness to lend a helping hand. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. He was such a special person and will be missed by many.

Dr. Newman was my Dr. in the seventies and my mom's Dr. before that. Although the frequent visits to his Hinsdale office were rarely for anything good, as a young child I remember Dr. Newman as calm and comforting when I felt the worst. Reading his background story confirms that so many others remember him with fond memories as well.

All my thoughts and love.

Dr. Newman diagnosed a heart murmer in our son and sent us to Children's hospital. The doctors there were amazed that it was caught this early. We have always admired him as a pediatric doctor.
