Not sure what to say?

My heart aches for your family. Volunteering on the PIC gave me the chance to work with Bruce and get to know what a wonderful, funny person he was. This is such a tragic loss for our community and your family.
With love,

I was lucky enough to meet Aidan in residence at Laurentian University. While going through a difficult time Aidan and his roommates embraced me as their friend and made me feel welcomed. Although it may not have seemed like much, he made school better than I could have imagined. For that I am thankful!

My deepest condolences to the entire family. It was clear to see the love Bruce shared with his family and the positive impact he had in the community. Having had the opportunity...

I had the pleasure of being roommates with Aidan and met Bruce briefly while Aidan was moving out. It was clear that Aidan and Bruce shared a bond surrounding sports right away as the first few minutes were spent talking about football. Bruce was only there for about an hour but I was able to see the genuinely nice man who had an infectious smile/ laugh that so many of you mentioned during the service.

I am so sorry for your loss and will always be there to talk whenever you need...

I am so sorry for your loss, Heather, and Bruce's family. My sister Kelley and I lived 1 house down from Heather and Bruce, and as kids we played together all the time! Whether it was on Second Rock, out in the bush behind our houses, on our bikes or with our dogs Brownie and Haggis, we were inseparable. He was a great kid, and sounds like an even greater adult! I am so sorry for your loss of a brother, husband, and father.

Sharlene,Aidan,Liam my heartfelt sympathies to you as you mourn the loss of your husband and Dad. He was such a good man. He used to pick up bags of fruit and drop them off every Monday morning for Agnew 's "hungry tummy bowl" while the boys attended Agnew. I remember him worrying about what the children who relied on it during the school year would do for the summer. He was always just a phone call away when we needed his help. May your memories comfort you at this most difficult time.

Sharlene, so sorry to hear about Bruces passing. I enjoyed working with him at the Health Unit. Im glad I had the opportunity to chat with him at the country market Just before the pandemic. Thinking of you and your sons at this difficult time.

To the family of Bruce Nugent - i didn't know Bruce anymore, but i babysat him and Heather when they lived in Terrace Bay. My daughter-in-law Sheena recently met him through work and it was quite funny that the first person he mentioned when he found out i was from Terrace Bay was my father, Ernie Kettle. It's so heartwarming to see all the tributes to Bruce and to know that he grew up to be such a wonderful person. - Marcia (Kettle) Pilipishen
